RODON EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT INC.

What we do

Rodon provides emergency management expertise to help our clients ensure they are prepared for any plausible emergency. We do this in part through the development and delivery (or review) of a number documents including:

  • Planning basis/threat assessments
  • Concept of Operations (ConOps)
  • Detailed Capability Analysis
  • Gap Analysis
  • Roadmap which identifies priorities and sets schedules to close the gaps
  • Development of plans and detailed procedures
  • Development of training standards and training materials

Once plans are in place Rodon stands ready to test the validity of the ConOps and plans/procedures, making small adjustments as required.  Ideally, this is done through well structured training and by carrying out drills and exercises in a controlled setting of increasing complexity.  This allows us to identify and correct defficiencies in training or planning immediately so that staff are confident and are practicing the correct way to respond to an event while ensuring interoperability with other agencies as required.  At Rodon we strive to employ a building block approach that includes:

  • Seminars and workshops
  • Scenario based discussions
  • Table Top Exercises (TTX)
  • Command Post Exercises (CPX)
  • Drills and operational testing of procedures
  • Full Scale Exercises (FSX)
